Arm of Flesh
Nemelka has bragged he has the strength of 10 men (or something to that effect):
I doubt there are any 20, 30, or 40 year-old men, unless they have trained in athletics, who can run faster and longer, lift more weight, or perform more athletically than I can at the current age of 42. (12/15/2004: “The Purpose of Modern Scripture—An Explanation of the Urim & Thummim—How The Gold Plates of Mormon Were Translated” url: sealedportion.com/blog/)
Once empowered by the Spirit of God, the need to strengthen ones flesh is minimized.
Look at the modern prophets, healers and evangelists in the body of Christ and you will not find a single person who is pre-occupied with strengthening their flesh.
This is a sign that Nemelka is not wrapped in the love of God:
O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever. I will not put my trust in the arm of flesh; for I know that cursed is he that putteth his trust in the arm of flesh. (2 Nephi 4:34)
God is Love…Love casteth out fear. (1 John 4:16,18)
